Creating a visual identity for a company or a product line is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job. "Visual identity" can have many components, but at the heart of it is always the logo. I really enjoy diving into the challenge of giving a client the logo they want. Here's a sampling of logos in different styles, from a variety of industries.
Packaging / Product
Having spent years as in-house packaging art director, graphic designer and/or lead designer directing teams on larger initiatives, I have significant experience in not only applying branding and style guide artwork to packaging, but tackling any needed die-line development, product development, or overall packaging design strategy. I've developed entire lines of product packaging from sketch to mockup for twenty foot planogram presentations. If you can imagine it, I've probably problem-solved and created it.
Advertising / Marketing
I have a great deal of experience with both B2B and D2C advertising, both through agency and freelance work. I'm well-versed in print and web formats, and provide fast-turnaround times. I have no particular preference as far as industry, because I've found success and had fun across so many types of businesses. What I like best is not tied to an industry, but to be given the chance to come at a project from multiple angles – conceptual brainstorming, design, writing, photography.
